Johnny Black is originally from Walterboro, S.C. and began his real estate career on Edisto right after college. In the beginning, Johnny was actively involved in sales & property management but as his career evolved, his focus became exclusively on listing & selling real estate.  Since 1981, Johnny has been helping buyers & sellers on Edisto with all of their real estate needs.  He is a full time agent and works many long hours to stay on top of current market conditions & provide the best possible service to his clients & customers.

Johnny is a broker associate and also holds the professional designation, Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) from the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS.  In 2006 and 2007 he received the REALTOR of Distinction award from the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors for achieving a high level of continuing education and financial success while adhering to the Association’s strict Code of Ethics.  Johnny is consistently among the high achievers year after year.

Johnny met his wife, Denise, on Edisto and they were soon after married in 1982.  They have 3 grown children, Eva, Will & Gordon.  Johnny spends his leisure time fishing & cruising the creeks in his boat and exploring the beaches & backroads of Edisto.
